Yay! Another layout completed!
America, Home of the Brave. ♥
Gorgeous art done by
Stan that I couldn't NOT make a layout with. I did add the text and a little border, but since I'm not sure people will even want those, I've made sure to include Headers that don't have them. I couldn't help it though, because this picture made me feel really patriotic, I heard the Star-Spangled Banner in my head and everything. And so I had to put the text on the picture!
I tried some different stuff with this layout, such as the added faded text on the Header, the removal of the title and subtitle, and the movement of the menu bar. I hadn't tried that before in Flexible Squares, but I like how it looks. I also have two codes, one for the layout WITH the orange content background, and one where it is just the black.
There is also a special font inclusion in the code called "Bleeding Cowboys." Take a closer look at the preview images and you can see how cool it looks. It is up over at
DA Fonts for anyone who wants to download it. ^_^
I'm really on quite a roll, as making layouts is been quite the life-saver for me lately. I started like five different layouts around the same time and have been jumping around between them. So far, this one is complete one two more are almost done, so expect more soon!

Layout #2 - Without Content Background
( Directions and Images under the Cut )If you still are having trouble with how to use one of my CSS Code layouts, I have created a
picture-based tutorial you can follow.
I really appreciate comments and critiques about my layouts, as they really do help me to improve. I'm also currently debating making a third layout with a lighter background color. Thoughts? Or a matching default icon?
If you don't want to credit me, I can accept that, even if I kind of wish you would, but do NOT remove the credit of the artist from the code, and I would really appreciate it if you mentioned that they made the art on your Livejournal profile page. They spend so much time making such gorgeous art for us, it's really such a simple thing to do in return. If there is something wrong with the layout after you install, please tell me, so that I can fix it. This one shouldn't cause that many troubles as I used a very generic code for the most part. It should work with the sidebar on either side and it looks fine on Firefox and IE (I checked this time!)
